Why this unit is in the queue

The Luma Line is the lowest-priced booth in Smart 360’s Luma range. Smart 360 lists it with a padded carrying case, not the flight case that ships with the rest of the line. That is the question an operator cares about: can a sub-$600 booth with a soft case survive real load-ins and still look right at a wedding?

What we will check

  • Setup and teardown. Five timed runs from case open to first print. First run against fifth.
  • Transport. Packed weight, case size, and whether one person can get it up a flight of stairs and through a 32-inch door with the soft case.
  • Build. Stability on carpet, which fasteners hold up, and what you can replace without buying a new booth.
  • Real cost. Booth, iPad, printer, media and software, priced as a complete working rig.
  • Guest flow. Sessions per hour at three or more paid events, and how it does in a dim reception room.
  • Seller support. One real support ticket, with hours to reply and whether it was resolved.
